The sintering system reconstruction phase one project of Panzhihua New Steel & Vanadium Company Limited contracted by CIE has reached designed capacity and standards recently since the success of onetime feed commissioning on Jun 2 and continuous operation. For this, the Panzhihua New Steel & Vanadium Company Limited sent CIE a letter of thanks, expressing their thanks for the project capacity and standards realization and for great effort of all staffs in the project department.

This set of 360㎡sinter machine is the biggest sinter machine in the west south area, the project system process flow, equipment selection and automatic control level all reach domestic advanced level. After the project completion, the sinter machine productivity shall reach 1.3t/㎡h，production capacity of 3,936,000 t sinter per year will be formed. At the same time, the sinter strength, particle size and sinter composition will be improved substantially, the emission of sulfur dioxide and dust in sintering waste gas will be decreased significantly, all these will play important roles in further improving integral equipment and environmental level of New Steel & Vanadium sintering system and in optimizing Panzhihua environmental quality.
