It is known from the No. 90 (2010) document of China Metallurgical Construction Association, CIE has won 4 prizes for excellent EPC projects, 8 prizes for excellent engineering design and 1 prize for excellent engineering prospecting in project evaluation of metallurgical industry in 2010.

Among all these prizes, there are four first prizes for excellent EPC project in national metallurgical industry, they are《The EPC project for new sinter machine（2×360㎡） construction of Xinyu I & S Co., Ltd》, 《General contracting of phase 1 project for 2×1.2 million t/a pelletizing plant of Zhuhai Yujia Mineral product Co., Ltd.》, 《 The EPC project of major facilities for technical modification of No.1 sintering system of ironmaking plant of Panzhihua New Steel & Vanadium Company Limited》, 《The EPC project for proportioning and mixing system reconstruction of Donganshan sintering plant of Ansteel Mining Corporation》.

Among all these prizes, there are three first prizes for excellent engineering design in national metallurgical industry, they are 《Engineering design of raw material stockyard reconstruction for No.2 ironmaking plant of Bensteel》《Engineering design of phase 1 project (No. 4 new sinter machine) for technical modification of No.1 and No.2 sinter machine relocation and major repair of Shanghai Meishan I &S Co. Ltd 》, 《Engineering design for two new sinter machines (2×360㎡) project of Xinyu I &S Co. Ltd 》.

There are four second prizes, they are 《Engineering design for 86㎡sinter machine relocation and major repair reconstruction project (new 2×360㎡sinter machines) of Xuanhua I &S Group Co. Ltd》,《Engineering design for EPC project of west throat overpass, underpass bridge at sintering level crossing and underpass bridge at rolled steel No.2 level crossing of Hunan Hualing Xiangtan Iron and Steel Co, Ltd》, 《Engineering design for ecological management project of Qinghu section of Shenzhen Guanlan River and advanced treatment project of artificial wetland , 《Engineering design of demonstration center for comprehensive treatment of hazardous wastes in Guangdong province . One third prize is 《Engineering design of office building and community service center in Huli area of Xiamen city 》.

There is one third prize for excellent engineering prospecting in national metallurgical industry:《Detailed engineering geological investigation of Xiangsteel innovative (west throat) overpass》.
