Recently, CIE has successively signed a general contract for “auxiliary sinter machine project for construction of a new annual 1 million t high strength steel production line “ with Kezhou Ganxin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. The construction of a new annual 1 million t high strength steel production line project of Kezhou Ganxin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd is the key industry development project in which Jiangxi province gives onetoone assistance to Xinjiang province. As one of the units participating in the project, CIE is responsible for general contracting of a 180㎡sinter machine with annual production of 1.8 million t sinters.

The Kezhou (Kezilesu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang) Ganxin Iron and Steel Co., Ltd is a jointstock company mutually invested and established by Xinyu Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd of Jiangxi province, Kezhou Alar Stateowned Management Co., Ltd, Kezhou Yaxing Mineral Resources Group Co., Ltd and Aktash Iron Mine in Wuqia County of Xinjiang. In order to put the resource advantages of Kezhou such as iron ore, coal and natural gas etc to good use and to promote the local economic development, the company proposes to build a new annual 1 million t highstrength steel production line in heavy industry area of Atushi city. The production line includes raw material stockyard, sinter machine, blast furnace, converter, LF refining furnace, billet caster, all continuous rolling bar production line and corresponding public and utility facilities etc., and CIE is responsible for general contracting of sinter machine.

At present, the preliminary design has been completed for the project, and the construction drawing design is being carried out, it is predicted that the project will be commenced in July this year and it will be put into production in July of year 2013.
