At 1:15 on July 26, electricity grid connection  for Bensnteel sintering waste heat power generation project undertaken by CIE in EMC mode was successfully completed.

The project is the 5th waste heat power generation station constructed independently by the Environmental and Energy Engineering technology Co. of CIE after construction of Xiansteel, Xinsteel, Xinsteel and Fangda Special steel waste heat generation projects.

The project construction was started on Oct 1, 2011, and the equipment installation was completed in July of 2012. After over ten months of hard work, the personnel of CIE site project department have overcome unfavorable factors like tense working period and construction difficulty, they completed the project task with quality and quantity in time, and gridconnected power generation was smoothly realized. It is known that, the designed total installed capacity for the project is 15,000 KW, the annual electricity generation is 68,400,000 kilowatthour, over 16,000 t standard coal is saved annually, about 40,000 t carbon dioxide emission is reduced annually, which will bring notable economic and social benefits.
