On May 9, the subsidiary of CIE—Hunan Changtian Automation Engineering Co., Ltd made achievements again in sintering main exhauster fan frequency conversion field, after signing the contract of Shanxi Longsteel main exhauster fan frequency control system project, it successfully won the bid of frequency control and energy saving system reconstruction project of Chongtian steel 550m2 sintering main exhauster fan.

CIE is the leading unit for research and application of sintering main exhauster fan frequency control and energy saving. Since the signing of Brazil GA sintering main exhauster fan frequency control project, the frequency control mode has been adopted in series of projects undertaken by CIE, including Brazil AMM sintering project, Baotou Steel 2X500m2sintering project, Benxi Steel and Beitai Steel 450m² sintering project etc. The energy saving effect of the frequency control operation is significant, which has huge economic and social values.

The sintering main exhauster fan frequency control system is system engineering, starting with the system design, through the process mechanism analysis, system modeling and automatic frequency control of the main exhauster fan system, the sintering main exhauster fan is made to operate in the frequency control mode, and the same time the automatic control of frequency conversion is realized. CIE concentrates its advantages of sintering process and automatic control, through many years of system research, they have obtained remarkable achievements. CIE has successfully applied 23 national invention patents and 5 international invention patents in terms of main exhauster fan frequency control, establishing its leading position in the main exhauster fan frequency conversion system and its automatic control.

The successful winning of the bid of Zhongtian Steel main exhauster fan frequency control system reconstruction project fully reflects the comprehensive capabilities of CIE in terms of the main exhauster fan frequency control technology and project management.
