Sintering complex electrostatic fabric filter developed independently by CIE is put into production smoothly
On July 19, 2014,the DD15511300 electrostatic fabric filter for 265㎡sinter machine discharge end of Shanxi Longmen Iron & Steel (Group) Co., Ltd was manufactured by a wholly-owned subsidiary of CIE---Hunan Zhongye Changtian Heavy Industrial Technology Development Co., Ltd. was smoothly put into production. The dust emission concentration of outlet was ≤20 mg/Nm3. This is the first electrostatic fabric filter which was developed, designed and manufactured independently by CIE, and it is also the first new type of electrostatic fabric filter used for sinter machine discharge end emission concentration reconstruction domestically since the implementation of the new emission standard.
According to the national environmental policies, starting from Jan. 1, 2015, the air pollutants emission limit (environmental dedusting system) of the existing enterprises should not be more than 30mg/Nm3. The emission limits of electrostatic precipitators mostly used in the present projects are over 50mg/Nm3.Although the bag filters can meet the emission standard of 30mg/Nm3, the dust collected from dedusting system of sinter machine discharge end carry with open flame which easy burns and damage the bag filter, which makes the overhaul and maintenance more difficult.
CIE is devoting to the research of electrostatic fabric filter. On the basis of referring to successful application of electrostatic fabric filters in cement and electric power industry, in view of the characteristics of sintering dust, CIE has conducted repeated research and tests on factors including working principles, characteristics, performance indexes, advantages and disadvantages of electrostatic precipitators and bag filters which affect the operation result. Through two years of effort, CIE successfully developed the electrostatic fabric filter specially used in sintering industry, which fills the blanks of electrostatic fabric filter in metallurgical industry. The electrostatic fabric filter has the following characteristics: less area occupation, the dust emission concentration is ≤20 mg/Nm3. The dedusting efficiency of electric zone can be up to 75~80％ which can significantly decrease the dust concentration of bag, and the service life of bag filter is prolonged. After the dust passes the electric zone, the structure of dust layer deposited on the surface of bag filter is improved effectively, and the permeability of bag filter is good. The dedusting resistance is 900~1200Pa. Comparing with bag filter, it can effectively decrease electric consumption of dedusting motor. The dust with the same polarity repels with each other, so the dust layer formed on the surface of bag filter is fluffy, and the dust cleaning is easy, the injection pressure can be reduced, and the dust cleaning cycle can be prolonged by one time. The compressed air can be decreased to 1/3 of the bag filter. It is suitable for upgrading and revamping of electrostatic precipitator which can be fully utilizing the existing deduster foundation and the first electric field, meanwhile, decreasing revamping investment.
Before this, CIE had completed the revamping the dedusting duct network system of discharge end of 265㎡ sinter machine of Shanxi Longmen Iron & Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. the commissioning of the electrostatic fabric filter gains “double standardized” achievements, which met the standards of post dust concentration and stack emission concentration as the Client requires.
