On July 29, The Shenzhen hazardous wastes incineration and disposal EPC project undertaken by a wholly-owned subsidiary of CIE Hunan Zhongye Changtian Energy Conservation and Environment Protection Technology Co., Ltd. smoothly passed completion acceptance of related departments in Shenzhen city, indicating the fundamental completion of the project construction work.

Shenzhen hazardous wastes incineration and disposal project is the construction project of 《Construction plan for national hazardous wastes and medical wastes disposal facilities》.This project is constructing a new advanced regional and comprehensive hazardous wastes incineration and disposal center with annual hazardous wastes treatment capacity of 10000t.The design of the EU emission standard of air pollutants is firstly adopted in China, and the project is listed as the “demonstration project of national hazardous wastes disposal and incineration project construction”. On July 10, the system of this project has been making a 72hour performance test of which many performance test indexes are superior to EU environmental standards. After the project is put into production, the safety disposal problems of organic hazardous wastes and highly toxic wastes of Shenzhen can be solved primarily. This is helpful to improving industrial wastes especially hazardous wastes disposal technologies and operation management level of Shenzhen and even Guangdong province, and this is also beneficial for Shenzhen ecological construction and development of environmental industry, and simultaneously having obvious social and environmental benefits.

This project is also the first EPC municipal and environmental project of hazardous wastes incineration disposal undertaken by CIE.  In recent years, CIE has enhanced such metallurgical and environmental business development such as waste heat generation, flue gas desulphurization and dedusting reconstruction etc., meanwhile ,arranged municipal and environmental business. CIE has obtained good progress in terms of hazardous solid wastes disposal, sewerage treatment and heavy metal control etc. The smooth completion of the project will lay solid foundation for CIE to develop hazardous wastes incineration disposal and other municipal and environmental businesses.
