On Oct. 17, 2014, the closedcircuit dedusting revamping project of Midi beneficiation Plant of Pansteel Mining Co., Ltd. undertaken by CIE was started.

The closedcircuit dedusting facilities of Midi beneficiation Plant of Pansteel began working since 2003. After ten years’ use, the efficiency of the wet deduster is declining, the duck wears in varying degrees , and air leakage occurs. These cause the workshop environment (post dust concentration) is unable to meet the requirements of the national standards. This revamping project is constructing new dedusting facilities which ensure that the post dust concentration and organized dust concentration emission meet the standards.

This revamping project consists of two systems including screening house and transfer station: For dust collecting point in screening house, a set of bag filter dedusting system with air volume of 440, 000 m³/h will be constructed. Dry fog dust suppression device will be adopted for the new 1#~7# transfer station for controlling the dust overflow. In the design, CIE adheres to the “scientific, advanced, economic and energy saving” green environmental protection concepts, and adopts the most advanced dedusting technology. Matured, stable, practical and reliable process flows and equipment are adopted. The technical equipment and automatic control level reach the domestic advanced level. After the project is completed, the production and working environment of the owner staff will be substantially improved and the dust emission will be decreased.
