Baosteel Desheng sintering proportioning system dedusting reconstruction EPC project undertaken by CIE commences

On July 8, the sintering proportioning system dedusting reconstruction project of Desheng Stainless Steel Co., Ltd of Baosteel (Hereinafter referred as Baosteel Desheng) undertaken by CIE officially commenced.

Baosteel Desheng sintering proportioning dedusting system was built and put into production in 2008, after several years of operation, the post dust seriously exceeded the standard, part of the pipes were clogged, which seriously polluted the site and the surrounding environment, and the environmental requirements could not be satisfied. In the reconstruction project, the existing front dedusting system of the proportioning room will be demolished, two sets of new 1000m2 pulse jet bag filters and their under scraper conveyors will be built, the dedusting machine will be expanded and scraper conveyor will be extended for the pulse jet bag filter in the proportioning room. The pulse jet bag filter dedusting system is adopted for the project, it is convenient for management and maintenance and longtime stable operation of the system can be ensured;

The adopted pipeline resistance balance technology can effectively control the resistance in each branch pipe section, keep pipeline resistance balance in the system and ensure that the system is operated stably long term in designed air rate. In addition, proprietary wear resistance technology of protection cover is adopted for easytowear local structure member of the dedusting pipeline, which can prolong the system service life.

After commissioning, the project will improve the workers’ working environment and surrounding environment in the steel plant, and can meet the environment protection requirements. Now, the pile foundation construction of the project is being implemented steadily, and it is to be completed officially in late September.
