The thermal load test run for the project of Zhanjiang sintering flue gas purification with active carbon is successful

On Dec 30 of year 2015, with the successful onetime thermal load test run for project of Baosteel Zhanjiang No.1 sintering flue gas purification with active carbon, the project in which the design independently is undertaken by CIE and the complete set of equipment is supplied by CIE fully enters the home stretch before commissioning.

The active carbon flue gas cleaning technology independently developed by CIE with full proprietary intellectual property rights is adopted for the project. The technology is the most advanced flue gas cleaning technology in current sintering flue gas cleaning field, it can remove many kinds of pollutants like sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, dioxin, heavy metal, dust and other harmful traces of flue gas components with water saving function as well as recovering the sulfur resources and produce concentrated sulfuric acid products. The major equipment for the project is designed and manufactured by CIE, a series of unique technologies independently developed by CIE are adopted, including flue gas temperature control and waste heat utilization technology, multiway gravity adsorption tower technology with controllable speed, multipoint distribution technology, integrated analysis and cooling technology of adsorption tower and resource diversification technology, and these technologies have the characteristics of combined removal of multiple pollutants, recovery of sulfur sources, low consumption of active carbon, low operation cost and high denitration efficiency.

The Baosteel Zhanjiang active carbon sintering flue gas purification project is divided into No.1 and No.2 system. The thermal load test run was realized for the No.2 system on Dec. 3, after nearly a month of test run, the effect is good, and the pollutants emissions are reduced extremely.
