On Apr 26, the heavy load test run for EPC project of Baima Iron Mine Phase two Wanniangou concentration plant of Pansteel undertaken by CIE was successful, this indicates official entering trial production stage, being 5 months ahead of construction period specified in the contract.

The largest semiautogenous mill and ball mill in similar projects of metallurgical mines are used for the project, the process, equipment and electrical automation control levels are high. The project was commenced on May 2, 2009, during the project execution, such actual conditions as narrow construction site, difficult transportation of raw materials, various construction points and scattered distance, complicated topographic and geological condition brought many difficulties to project management.

During project execution, with scientific management and elaborate organization, CIE Baima site project department ensured construction safety, quality and progress, and the project construction was promoted effectively, and CIE won good appraisal from the Owner. At the same time, the construction site of Baima Iron Mine Phase two Wanniangou concentration plant undertaken by CIE was named “standard construction site of safety quality in 2010”.
