Phase 2 project of Baosteel Zhanjiang active carbon sintering flue gas purification facilities is put into production
On August 6, with the onetime successful thermal load test run of No.3 system of Baosteel Zhanjiang active carbon sintering flue gas purification device, it indicated that the phase 2 project of Baosteel Zhanjiang active carbon sintering flue gas purification device which was designed by CIE together with supply of its complete set of equipment was put into production smoothly.
Based on full summarization of phase 1 project design, construction and operation, in phase 2 project of active carbon purification facilities, the design scheme was optimized further, the constriction schedule was adjusted reasonably and every work was carried forward actively to ensure the commissioning of phase 2 project on time.
After the phase 2 project is completed and put into production, Baosteel Zhanjiang comprehensive control capability of sintering flue gas will be further promoted, the total sintering flue gas treatment capacity of whole active carbon purification device will be up to 2×1,800,000 Nm3/h, the annual byproduct of sulfuric acid is 23,000t, the collaborative control of desulphurization, denitration and dioxin removal can be realized, and no harmful byproduct is discharged outside. With stable production capability, the major machine synchronous rate can be up to 100%.
The full commissioning and operation of phase 1 and phase 2 project of Baosteel Zhanjiang active carbon sintering flue gas purification facilities have made contributions for building Baosteel Zhanjiang iron and steel plant into an environmental and high efficient green steel plant, which has also created a benchmark of the most advanced energy saving and environmental project in the iron and steel field.
