It was on April 18 that EPC contract on sintering machine capacity upgrading and reconstruction project of 130 square meters was signed by CIE and Fangda Special Steel Technology Co., Ltd. together.

 

With more than a decade of operation at full load, the main process equipment of sintering machine with 130 square meters of Fangda Special Steel Technology Co., Ltd. was badly worn. With the increasing demand year by year of blast furnace to sinter ore and the increasing output gaps of sinter ore, Fangda Special Steel made a decision to upgrade and rebuild its capacity for its sintering machine of 130 square meters. After more than one year of investigation and preparation cooperating with its owner, CIE won the bidding in the renovation project at last based on its strength and its so many optimized retrofit schemes. The project mainly includes sintering machine dilatation, pelletizingtype circular cooler transformation, once or twice mixer transformation, main exhauster transformation and other relevant professional system transformation.

 

The relevant design work has been carried out in advance since its limited construction period, which project expects to do trial run and go into operation in December 2017.
