CIE Won the Bidding of EPC project of Reconstruction of the No.2 Sintering Plant of BENGANG

It was on May 5 that CIE won the bidding of EPC project of BENGANG STEEL PLATES CO., LTD (hereinafter referred to as BENGANG STEEL PLATES) including the finished product screening system and circular cooler reconstruction of No.2 sintering plant of iron mill.

It was since 2000 that the product screening system and 2 circular coolers covering an area of 280 square meters of No. 2 sintering workshop of BENGANG STEEL PLATES have started to go to use and into operation. After 17 years of operation, their aging equipment and high failure rate not only affected the environment of factor, but also failed to meet the requirements of energy conservation and emission reduction. Therefore, BENGANG STEEL PLATES made up its mind to deal with reconstruction for the product screening system of No. 2 sintering workshop and 2 circular coolers.

After over one year keeping tracking the project and cooperating with the owners for several solution design and optimization, CIE won the bidding based on its super hard strength at last. The project mainly includes the finished product screening system reconstruction (including the reconstruction of using 6 bar screens of energy environmental protection and energyconservation to replace original 9 linear screens, relevant conveying system and dust removal system transformation) and the circular cooler reconstruction (including using reverse discharging type circular cooler to replace original bottom discharge type circular cooler, widening trolley and enlarging active cooling surface). After the reconstruction, the processing capacity of both finished product screening system and circular cooler can be promoted in a certain degree, which is able to match with 2 sintering machines of 265 sq.m, with the maximum utilization factor of 1.45 ton/sq.m per hour, in No.2 sintering workshop. It is predicted that the project will go into operation in October 2017.
