It was on October 21 that CIE put into full operation of its phase I 2 x 500 square meters sintering project of Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corp with an overall contract.
 

As one of important sub-projects of new 10millionton integrated iron and steel works invested in Vietnam by Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corp is the first superhuge type general contract project of metallurgy sintering constructed in overseas by Chinese company, and a signature project positively responding the national strategy "One Belt And One Road".  The project boasts its great scale, high equipped technical level and strict indicator on energy conservation and environmental protection. In sintering characteristics terms of ironbearing material emphasizing on ironbearing material, preheating sintering material is adopted before the ignition; thick layer of sintering process is adopted to improve the quality of sinter; recovery of waste heat is adopted to the exhaust gas caused by circular cooler transformation for saving energy and protecting environment. The project adopts dozens of patents and proprietary technology equipments with fully independent intellectual property of CIE, in which, L2 sintering integrated control expert system, liquid sealing ring cooler, wrapping connector driving, segregation distribution, etc. have reached advanced world levels in quality and performance.
